Having done hunderds of stem masters and mixes over the past couple of years, i noticed some projects required something different. The instrumentals were often done with samples and VST’s, so if sound selection was done right, the instrumental was easy to get to the finish line during stem mastering.

But when it comes to vocals, something that requires mixing from the ground up, i noticed there’s only so much i can do with a stereo stem of the lead and another one for the backings.

So, i figured, since the instrumental has come a long way and just needs some tweaks and analog vibe, there’s not really a need for a full mix there, but there is on the vocal.

It feels unfair to me to charge for a full mix when there’s no need for it, so i decided it was time for a new type of stem master, the Stem Master + Vocal Mix.

For this service i require your instrumental stems as i do with regular stem masters. exactly as you have them in your mix, with all your processing engaged.

But for the vocals, i want to be able to build from the ground up, so i require the vocals as individual tracks, with no processing on them, only tuning. And the effects like reverbs, delays and choruses you can send as individual tracks.

With that selections of tracks i can make sure i get everything out of the mix & master possible and you get the most bang for your buck!
